The Industrial Development Bank participated for the second consecutive year in the walking and running marathon organized by the Friends of Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Association at the New Giza Sports Club, reaffirming the Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at cultural and social development in the governorates of Upper Egypt.

The Bank’s participation stems from its belief in the importance of initiatives that provide educational and cultural opportunities for youth and children in the most underserved areas, promote sports as a healthy lifestyle, raise awareness of social issues, and foster the inclusion of people with disabilities into society.

The event witnessed the participation of a number of the Bank’s employees, reflecting the Bank’s keenness to strengthen team spirit and encourage interaction among colleagues through engagement in various activities, creating an atmosphere filled with positive energy and teamwork.

The Bank emphasized that its continued participation in this event aligns with its vision of enhancing its role as a socially responsible institution by building sustainable partnerships with civil society organizations working to advance local communities, particularly in Upper Egypt, in support of sustainable development and the achievement of tangible social impact.

The proceeds of the marathon are dedicated to supporting the developmental and cultural activities of the Friends of Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Association, helping to broaden the reach of these initiatives within Egyptian society.
