Industrial Development Bank Continues to Promote Financial Inclusion Through Field Activities in Several Governorates

The Industrial Development Bank (IDB) has organized a series of on-ground banking awareness activities across the governorates of Cairo, Fayoum, and Alexandria, aiming to provide direct banking services and promote financial literacy among various segments of society.

These initiatives come as part of the bank’s strategy to reach customers directly by being present in vibrant public locations.

In Fayoum, the bank held awareness activities at Qarun Sports Club, where it offered exclusive banking offers and special facilities to club members. The event also included consultation services and introductions to the bank’s products, with a strong focus on spreading financial literacy and opening financial inclusion accounts for new customer segments in Upper Egypt—a reflection of the bank’s ongoing interest in serving the southern governorates and cities.

In Alexandria, the bank participated in an event at Sporting Club, aiming to raise awareness of digital banking services and various financing programs. During the event, financial inclusion accounts were opened for young participants to promote financial inclusion in coastal areas.

In Cairo, the bank organized an educational seminar for university students training at its head office, providing a simplified overview of banking fundamentals, saving mechanisms, and digital banking services. Financial inclusion accounts were opened for all participating students to integrate them into the formal banking system and enhance youth financial empowerment.

The bank emphasized that these activities align with its commitment to social responsibility and its active contribution to the goals of the Egyptian state and the Central Bank of Egypt, particularly in promoting empowerment and financial inclusion for unbanked segments of the population.

These initiatives represent a practical translation of the Industrial Development Bank’s vision to be closer to its customers by delivering direct banking experiences, educating the public about financing and saving opportunities, and introducing them to digital products—all of which reflect the bank’s commitment to providing comprehensive and sustainable financial services across the entire country.
