The Industrial Development Bank (IDB) led the “Warmth and Care” campaign, covering most governorates across Egypt, helping provide warmth to thousands of underprivileged families during the winter season.

As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and supporting vulnerable groups, IDB collaborated with the Orman Association in the “Warmth and Care” campaign to distribute winter blankets to underprivileged families. The initiative, carried out through a wide-reaching field operation, aims to alleviate living burdens and create a tangible humanitarian impact on the ground.

The distribution covered several governorates, including Cairo, Giza, Sharqia, Alexandria, Kafr El Sheikh, Beni Suef, Ismailia, Sohag, Fayoum, among others. The campaign also included visits to several elderly care homes to provide both material and moral support to those in need, ensuring a broad geographic reach and assistance to the largest possible number of deserving families.

IDB’s corporate social responsibility ambassadors from various branches actively participated in distributing the blankets and helped execute the campaign in an organized manner, reflecting the values of cooperation and solidarity between the bank and the community.

This initiative highlights IDB’s commitment to being an active societal partner, contributing to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable families, especially during winter. The participation of bank employees in humanitarian work also reflects an institution that is aware of its social role and strives to maximize the positive impact of its initiatives.
